What do I get out of it?
It was the Monday after the 3 rd weekend in January and I was walking with a slight limp to my car, after work. A colleague asked me “How are you feeling?” I replied “Every part of my body is aching but never felt better” He gave me a surprised look and said “I can never fathom why anyone would want to do something which will give so much pain” and continued with a shrug “What do you get out of it?” I smiled back and continued my walk. A day after running 21 km at the Standard Chartered Mumbai marathon, I ensured that I get out of bed in time and continue with my normal routine even though my body was telling me otherwise. The personal achievement of the previous day would have been lost if this was not the case.
